Inspirations by Frances Durisseau

I’ve heard it said that you truly find out who your friends are when something big, stressful, tragic, or maybe even life-changing happens in your life. I’ve found out how true this can be. We all need friends, ‘our person’, someone who is there for us, who gets us, stands beside us come what may, and is ready to reach out a hand, an ear, a shoulder, or whatever we might need at any given moment. We learn the difference as we go through our ups and downs in our lives who our true friends are verses our acquaintances. Our forever friends are there for us in spirit, truth, and deed whether we are ascending to our highest heights, or have fallen to our deepest and lowest depths. They are there to guide us, cheer us on, and strengthen us with love and kindness. They just believe in us, because- no other reasons are needed. I am thankful for my forever friends who are willing to be there for me, on the mountain tops, in the trenches, or just the mundane occurrences of every day life. Some of mine have recently stepped up for me in heartfelt and tangible ways. I am so blessed. If you have one or more friends that are always there for you, be thankful. I know I couldn’t have made this physical move to my new home without mine. Friends are one of our most precious treasures. Always remember to cherish them and be thankful for them, every day.
