Inspirations by Frances Durisseau
I just recently went through something that totally frustrated me, tried my patience, and tested my very last nerve. I’m sure you’ve been there too. For over a month I’ve been disabled with an awful case of sciatica, to the point that walking has been extremely difficult, much less climbing stairs. I arranged to have many things come by delivery service. One certain company decided, even after conversations and specific instructions, to leave my parcels and heavy packages at the leasing office , quite a distance and downstairs from my apartment. I was not very pleasant about it, to say the least. Not feeling well and being in pain played a part in that, I am sure, plus I had taken the time in advance to make sure they would deliver to my door as the other company that also delivers had done. Looking back, I’m feeling remorseful. Did I have to be so rude and impatient? No! It was a reaction I could have controlled. It certainly didn’t result in getting my packages any closer to my door. It only added more negativity to the situation and fuel to the fire I was allowing to burn. So today, let me give you a word of inspiration- don’t do what I did. Keep a cool head when things are heating up. You will feel better afterwards, believe me.
