St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School held its annual Fall Bazaar on Sunday October 1st at the grounds of Our Lady Of Fatima School, located at 1604 Ninth Avenue in Texas City. The award-winning TCHS Mariachi Raya performed. The bazaar, according to a letter sent out to donors and sponsors, is a long-standing Texas City tradition, with this year’s theme being “All Star Fall Bazaar.”
Being that it is a long-standing tradition, the bazaar is enjoyed each year by people both inside and outside the community. And this year was no different, with dozens of people attending the bazaar and visiting the different vendors on location, participating in the live silent auction and enjoying the live entertainment. This year’s vendors included Aquatic Pools & Spas, Scentsy, Max & Madeline, VIP Paparazzi and so many more. Each vendor had exciting goods on hand to sell to anyone that stopped by their booth.
The bazaar also had a lot of delicious food available for attendees to enjoy, as they explored everything the festival had to offer. From barbeque to Mexican food to a new spice market—there was no shortage on choices to brighten your palate. And the children of our community weren’t left out, because they were able to enjoy the many child-friendly activities on offer—including games and a bounce castle.
Last, but certainly not least, people were able to purchase raffle tickets, and several individuals went home with prizes including a visa gift card, an apple store gift card, a two-person bicycle, a 55 inch television and so much more. The bazaar was definitely an event to remember!
The Post congratulates St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School on all its success with this year’s Fall Bazaar!
