The Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future hosted the 12th Annual Community Recognition Celebration on October 12, 2017 at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City. The celebration featured recognition of the TCISD Community Partners & Honorees, the Texas City Hall of Honor and the La Marque Legacy Hall. We recently highlighted all of the Honorees in our past 8 issues.
Here are the four individuals that were recognized for their dedication to Texas City ISD. Each award recipient is pictured with Foundation President Jose’ Boix.
Neal Mora received the TCISD Foundation for the Future Visionary Award for his work in fundraising efforts for students through the Texas City Police Department’s Annual Golf Tournament, while serving as a Crime Scene Investigator and Photographer for TCPD since 1993.
Pastor Robin Reeves received the Spirit of Education Award for her leadership in multiple partnerships with the schools through Garden of Hope, Backpack Buddies and Lemonade Day. Pastor Robin received her Masters of Divinity in 2006 and joined St. Georges’ in 2011.
Marion Godeaux, TCISD Executive Director of Maintenance, was honored with the Distinguished Service Award for his dedication to education through auxiliary services through the annexation and hurricane.
Stephanie S. Doyle was presented with the President’s Award by Foundation President Jose’ Boix for all of her efforts with fundraising and the Charles T. Doyle Leadership Program for the last 5 years.
