TODAY, SUNDAY: Looking to save their ever-fading playoff hopes, the Texans look
to snap a three-game losing streak when the Cardinals visit NRG Stadium for a noon
kickoff that will be aired live on KHOU-11. At 3-6 overall, the Texans can ill afford
to fall further behind the AFC South leader Jaguars, who own a three-game edge
over Houston. Like the Texans, the Cardinals (4-5) are fighting to stay within reasonable
range of the NFC playoff chase, as Arizona is three games behind the NFC
West-leading Rams. Tom Savage will remain the starter for the Texans, much to the
chagrin of fans who would prefer to see the team improve their plight at quarterback.
