GET YOUR baskets ready for a city-wide Easter egg hunt on Wednesday, April 1.
Texas City is hosting their free egg hunt at 5:30pm at the 3300 Magnolia Avenue Carlos Garza Sports Complex.
The hunt will be divided into three age groups: ages two to four start at 5:45, ages five to seven start at 6:15 and ages eight to ten start at 6:45.
Attendees will receive prizes and treats for finding the golden egg, have a chance to meet the Easter bunny, and much more.
Children under the age of two will receive a treat, while supplies last, and get to meet the Easter bunny.
Parents are not allowed in the hunting area and if your child is unable to walk without assistance, they will not be able to participate in the hunt.
The rules will strictly enforced to ensure fairness.
