DONAL E. Clark coached the Texas City Stings baseball team from 1954 until 1972 and he will be remembered on Thursday at Robinson Stadium, above.
The Donal E. Clark Memorial Wall will be dedicated to the former coach during a ceremony at the 2700 13th Avenue ballpark featuring Stings baseball players from past and present.
The dedication will begin at 6:30pm and the public is invited to attend. All former players are high encouraged to attend the ceremony, particularly those players who had the pleasure of playing for Coach Clark.
Following the dedication of the wall, the Stings will take on the Santa Fe Indians at 7:00pm in a district 23-5A showdown.
