Here we are in a new month. August brings about many changes for a lot of families. Teachers are getting ready to welcome new students. Graduates are often excitedly leaving to settle into new dorm rooms, moving from home for the first time, leaving parents with a heaping dose of anxiety mixed with pride. Young ones are getting ready for Pre K or kindergarten, leaving  a nervous Mom behind. Students new to their high school years are thrilled with feeling more grown up. And the summer season, is drawing to a close, with dreams for the first cold front to push through, giving us a break from our hot and humid days. Change can be challenging, and we either meet it with eager expectation, or for some, a lot of dread and fear. We need to do our best to focus on the good that change can bring. In the midst of the negative things we might be feeling, there is always something good that is also present. We have to hang onto to those good things with faith and hope, knowing confidently there will be more good to embrace. Let the change come, let it grow and blossom into all that it is meant to be. There are more memories to be made, with the changes. Grow with them. ?
