As I take a walk around my neighborhood every evening, I see the ghosts, pumpkins, skeletons and witches covering the neighborhoods. I see the Halloween decorations and costumes lining the stores. I hear my young cousins hem discussing their preferred costume choices. And that could only mean one thing; Halloween is upon us!
Along with Halloween comes Halloween parties. When I was a child, Halloween parties were one of my favorite parts of the school year. There was nothing more fun than having the opportunity to dress up in my favorite costume, enjoy delicious Halloween-themed snacks—candy corn and orange cupcakes being my favorite—and playing Halloween-themed games.
But, schools aren’t the only location that hold Halloween parties. And how do I know this? Because the Associated Credit Union of Texas is holding its own Halloween party—Halloween On The Green—on October 28th.
The ACU of Texas is putting on the event—which starts at 6:00pm—for the second time. According to a press release, the Halloween festival is going to include hayrides, a costume contest, food trucks, a blow-up obstacle course, and so many more fun activities related to the spookiest, scariest holiday of the year.
But the best part about is that it’s free! That’s right, you can enjoy all the amenities the festival has to offer at absolutely no cost! With this festival, the ACU of Texas is hoping to accomplish providing a family-friendly environment which will help kick-off Halloween, connect members to one another in a fun setting and continue to provide support to individuals and families as they take a journey towards financial success.
Halloween On The Green takes place at ACU of Texas, located at 1095 League City Parkway in League City. For more information, call Remy Martinez at 281-476-3552 or email email@example.com.
