Sunday marks the end of the 2025 MLB regular season, but the Astros are planning not to return to Houston and clear out their lockers. The team is locked in a clash between the Guardians and Tigers for the final American League wild-card spot, and it could come down to what happens on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday: Still seeking their first win of the season, the Texans host the Titans at noon. The game will be aired live on KHOU11.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys will have the national spotlight on them as they welcome the Packers for a Sunday Night Football matchup at 7:20 PM. The game can be seen on KPRC2.

The Astros are hoping their 2:07 PM start at the Angels is not the end of the 2025 season. The franchise entered the weekend a game behind the Tigers for the final wild-card spot in the American League and will need to do its part to return to the postseason. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 1:30 PM with the pregame show.

Monday: No games scheduled, although the Astros could be involved in a one-game playoff to determine the final American League wild-card spot. Stay tuned.

Tuesday: The regular season finales for high school tennis begin at 3 PM with Clear Brook at Deer Park, Clear Falls at Clear Springs, and Dickinson at Brazoswood. Clear Creek at Clear Lake starts at 3:15 PM, followed by La Porte at Ball, Angleton at Friendswood, and Texas City at Iowa Colony.

Volleyball play starts at 5 PM with Hitchcock at East Bernard, followed at 6 PM with Clear Brook at Clear Lake, Clear Creek at Brazoswood, and Clear Falls at Dickinson. Deer Park at Clear Springs begins at 6:15 PM, while Ball at Santa Fe, Friendswood at Iowa Colony, and Texas City at Angleton start at 6:30 PM.
