Houston Baptist University long jumper Christopher Welch traveled to Oregon to compete for one of the three positions on the U.S. Olympic Team for next month’s Summer Olympics in Tokyo. The Dickinson High School alum was previously named the Southland Conference’s Men’s Indoor Track and Field Performer of the Year.
