Monday: Regional cross-country finals are set, with Class 6A runners taking on the Kate Barr Ross park in Huntsville, while Class 5A runners scheduled for Tuesday morning. The state finals will be held in Round Rock on November 5 and 6.

Tuesday: In what will be the final Tuesday of the high school volleyball regular season schedule, Manvel at Clear Creek starts at 4:30pm, followed by Clear Springs at Clear Brook, Brazoswood at Clear Falls, Clear Lake at Dickinson, and La Porte at Texas City at 6:00pm. Galveston Ball at Goose Creek Memorial, Stafford at La Marque, and Friendswood at Santa Fe start at 6:30pm.
The Texas City boys’ golf team swings it for the first time this season as they host a tournament that will be held at Bayou Golf Course.
