Thursday: Boys basketball tournament play is highlighted by the annual Kruger/Carlisle Tournament hosted by Clear Creek ISD. Ball, Clear Brook, Clear Creek, Clear Falls, and Texas City will be among the teams competing. Meanwhile, Clear Springs is at the Grand Oaks Tournament, while state-ranked Friendswood competes in the Needville Tournament. State-ranked Hitchcock is at the Gulf Coast Classic at Barbers Hill, with state-ranked La Marque at the Buna ISD Tournament. Santa Fe travels to Pflugerville for that school district’s tournament.

Girls’ basketball is filled with tourneys as well, with Clear Creek and Dickinson at the Gulf Coast Classic, Friendswood at the Salado Tournament, La Marque at the Royal High School Invitational Tournament, with Santa Fe competing in the Baytown Lee Tournament.

The Rockets continue their swing on the West Coast when they visit the Warriors beginning at 9 p.m. Space City Home Network will have the game live, beginning with the pregame show at 8:30 p.m. The game can also be seen on NBA TV.

Friday: The girls’ basketball schedule will have La Marque at El Campo at 6 pm, followed by Iowa Colony at state-ranked Hitchcock at 6:30 pm. State-ranked Clear Brook at Shadow Creek and Clear Springs at Dobie both start at 7 pm.

Saturday: Second-ranked Texas can win the Southeastern Conference championship if it defeats #5 Georgia, which handed the Longhorns their only loss. KTRK13 will have the game live at 3 pm.
