Christmas is coming soon, but there’s no reason to not celebrate the joy of basketball on Tuesday, which will begin the start of district play for boys’ hoops.
Sunday: The Texans host a red-hot Dolphins team that enters NRG Stadium having won four of their last five after a 2-6 start. KHOU11 will have the game live at noon.
Both the Cowboys and Panthers come into their noon kickoff with faint playoff hopes. Those in the viewing area of the Texans will have to find another way to watch as the game will not be televised locally.
Monday: No games scheduled.
Tuesday: The boys’ basketball schedule starts at 7 PM with Clear Brook at Deer Park, Clear Creek at Clear Falls, Dickinson at Clear Lake, Brazoswood at Clear Springs, Texas City at state-ranked Friendswood, Ball at La Porte, Angleton at state-ranked Hitchcock, state-ranked La Marque at Wharton, and Santa Fe at Iowa Colony.
Meanwhile, the girls’ basketball schedule will have La Porte at Ball and Wharton at La Marque at 6 PM, followed by Friendswood at Texas City at 6:30 PM. Deer Park at state-ranked Clear Brook, Clear Falls at Clear Creek, Clear Lake at Dickinson, Clear Springs at Brazoswood, and Iowa Colony at Santa Fe begin at 7 PM.
