Cooper will bid to make the Lions roster and become the latest former Galveston County football star to reach the sport’s highest pinnacle.
Wednesday: The Astros host the Nationals at 1:10 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 12:30 PM with the pregame show.
Thursday: The Chargers and Lions get the NFL preseason underway with the Hall of Fame game at 7 PM on KPRC2. Local fans will have the chance to see Dickinson alum Keith Cooper Jr. suit up with the Lions as the free agent defensive end bids to make the roster. Cooper spent the 2024 season with the University of Houston after spending the previous three years with Tulane University.
Friday: In what could be a postseason preview, the Astros visit the Red Sox at 6:10 PM. The game will be available to watch on Apple TV+ as part of its Friday Night Baseball coverage.
Saturday: Afternoon baseball awaits the Astros and Red Sox in the middle game of the series. Space City Home Network coverage begins at 2:30 PM with the pregame show, leading into the 3:10 PM start time.
