With Thanksgiving week arriving, boys’ and girls’ basketball will be dominated with late morning and early afternoon games on Monday and Tuesday. Among the best local matchups will be Texas City at Dickinson (boys’) and Clear Creek at Santa Fe (girls’) on Tuesday.
Sunday: The Cowboys host the Eagles at 3:25 PM. KRIV26 will have the game live.
Monday: Girls’ basketball begins at 11 AM with Texas City at Galena Park, followed by Sterling at state-ranked Hitchcock at noon. Friendswood at Sweeny and La Marque at Hempstead are at 12:30 PM, while Clear Brook at South Houston and Hightower at Dickinson are at 1 PM.
In boys’ basketball, state-ranked La Marque at Van Vleck is at noon, while Alvin at Santa Fe is at 1 PM.
The Rockets visit the Suns at 8:30 PM. The game will be broadcast live on Prime Video.
Tuesday: Boys’ basketball tips off at noon with Clear Brook at Dobie and O’Connell at state-ranked Hitchcock, followed at 1 PM by Ball at Clear Creek, state-ranked Friendswood at Clear Falls, and Lamar at Clear Springs. Texas City at Dickinson is at 2 PM.
Meanwhile, the girls’ basketball schedule begins at 10 AM with Dickinson at Yates, followed at 11 AM with Fort Bend Christian Academy at La Marque. Clear Falls at Texas City is at 12:30 PM, while Clear Lake at Ball, Clear Creek at Santa Fe, and North Shore at Clear Springs are at 1 PM.
