Week 5 of the high school football season starts with a pair of games on Thursday including undefeated Ball on the road. Clear Springs and Texas City will have their Homecoming games Friday night.

Wednesday: In the regular season home finale, the Astros take on the Mariners at 1:10 pm. Space City Home Network begins at 12:30 pm with the pregame show.

Thursday: Week 5 of high school football season begins at 7:00 pm with Ball at Baytown Sterling and Harmony Sugar Land at La Marque.

Friday: Week 5 of the high school football season continues at 7:00 pm with Clear Brook at Dickinson, Clear Creek at Deer Park, Clear Lake at Clear Springs (Challenger/Columbia), La Porte at Friendswood (Clear Life Media Game of the Week), Hitchcock at Silsbee, Santa Fe at Fort Bend Marshall, and Baytown Lee at Texas City (Victory Sports).

Volleyball play begins at 4:15 pm with Dickinson at Clear Springs, followed by Needville at La Marque and Santa Fe at Texas City. Clear Falls at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Clear Lake, and Brazos at Hitchcock begin at 6:00 pm, while Friendswood at Angleton starts at 6:30 pm.

In team tennis, Clear Springs at Clear Brook and Clear Falls at Dickinson start at 3:00 pm, followed by Deer Park at Clear Creek at 3:15 pm. Galena Park at Ball starts at 4:00 pm.

The Astros visit the Guardians in the opener of what could be an American League postseason matchup. Space City Home Network starts at 5:30 pm with the pregame show that leads into the 6:10 pm start time.

Saturday: Kingwood at Friendswood team tennis starts at 9:00 am.
The college football schedule starts at noon with Houston Christian at Indiana State (ESPN+), followed at 2:30 pm with Texas State vs. Sam Houston State (NRG Stadium, ESPN+), followed by Arkansas vs. #24 Texas A&M (AT&T Stadium, ESPN) at 2:30 pm. Mississippi State at #1 Texas (SEC Network) is at 3:15 pm, while #18 Iowa State at Houston (FS1), UNC-Charlotte at Rice (ESPN+), Lamar at Central Arkansas (ESPN+), Prairie View vs. Grambling (Cotton Bowl, ESPN+), and Jackson State at Texas Southern (ESPN+) each start at 6:00 pm.

The Astros at Guardians start at 5:10 pm. Space City Home Network starts at 4:30 pm with the pregame show.
