Monday marks the opening day of the 2026 high school baseball season, with seven area teams hitting the field. The start of the new week also has the final day of the boys’ basketball regular season with state-ranked Dickinson and La Marque among those in action.
Sunday: No games scheduled.
Monday: The high school baseball regular season begins with Clear Creek at La Porte, Kincaid at Clear Falls, Friendswood at Alvin, and Dickinson at Texas City at 6 PM. Pasadena Memorial at Clear Brook, and Beaumont United at Hitchcock begin at 7 PM.
Tuesday: The final regular-season boys’ basketball games start at 7 PM with Ball at Iowa Colony, Clear Brook at Deer Park, Clear Falls at Clear Creek, Clear Lake at state-ranked Dickinson, Brazoswood at Clear Springs, Columbia at state-ranked La Marque, Santa Fe at Angleton, and Texas City at La Porte. Hitchcock at Brazos begins at 7:30 PM.
Softball play begins at 5 PM with La Marque at Lamar, followed by Clear Brook at Lutheran South, and Clear Falls at North Shore at 6 PM. Barbers Hill at Clear Creek, Clear Springs at La Porte, Dickinson at Santa Fe, Friendswood at Montgomery, and Columbia at Texas City at 6:30 PM.
In boys’ soccer, Iowa Colony at Ball, Dickinson at Clear Brook, Deer Park at Clear Creek, Brazoswood at Clear Falls, Angleton at Santa Fe, and La Porte at Texas City begin at 7:30 PM.
Meanwhile, the girls’ soccer schedule has Ball at Iowa Colony, Clear Brook at Dickinson, Clear Creek at Deer Park, Clear Falls at Brazoswood, Santa Fe at Angleton, and Texas City at La Porte at 7:30 PM.
