The weekend begins with baseball tournament play throughout the area. Many of the area’s teams will be at the Baytown ISD Tournament, while Friday and Saturday closes the regular season for boys’ and girls’ soccer.
Wednesday: No games on the schedule.
Thursday: Baseball tournament play includes Ball, Clear Brook, Clear Springs, Dickinson, and Texas City at the Baytown ISD Tournament. Meanwhile, Clear Creek is at the Battle by the Bay Tournament, Clear Falls at the Gary Herrington Tournament, Friendswood at the Brenham Tournament, Hitchcock at the Boling ISD Tourney, La Marque at the Bob Watson Invitational, and Santa Fe at the Strake Jesuit Tournament.
Texas City ISD Stadium is the site for the 409 Relays that include Ball, La Marque, Santa Fe, and Texas City among the schools competing.
La Marque’s soccer teams play their home regular season finales as the girls host Willowridge at 5:30 PM and the boys start at 7:15 PM.
The Rockets conclude their road trip at the Pelicans starting at 7 PM. Space City Home Network begins the pregame show at 6:30 PM.
Friday: A busy softball schedule starts at 5 PM with Bay Area Christian at Hitchcock and Legacy at Sports Science at La Marque, followed by Ball at Angleton, Clear Creek at Deer Park, Clear Falls at Brazoswood, Clear Lake at Clear Springs, Friendswood at Iowa Colony, and La Porte at Santa Fe at 6:30 PM. Clear Brook at Dickinson starts at 6:45 PM.
The girls’ soccer schedule has Brazoswood at Clear Brook, Clear Springs at Clear Creek, Clear Lake at Clear Falls, Iowa Colony at Friendswood, and Texas City at Santa Fe at 7:30 PM.
On the boys’ soccer schedule, Clear Brook at Brazoswood, Clear Creek at Clear Springs, Clear Falls at Clear Lake, Friendswood at Iowa Colony, and Santa Fe at Texas City at 7:30 PM.
Clear Creek, Clear Falls, Clear Springs, and Dickinson are among the teams competing at the two-day Bluebonnet Relays at Texas A&M University. Friendswood’s track and field team will be at the Mayde Creek Invitational.
Saturday: La Marque’s soccer teams close out the season at Crawford, with the boys starting at 10 AM and the girls beginning at noon.
The Dynamo is in action at the Columbus Crew beginning at 1:30 PM. The match will be aired on the MLS Season Pass package.
