A Season is at Stake for Astros

After being swept by the Mariners over the weekend, the Astros will have to find their magic on the road during the final week of the regular season. Houston plays the Athletics in a series which began on Tuesday before visiting the Angels beginning on Friday.

Wednesday: The Astros take on the Athletics at 9:05 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 8:30 PM with the pregame show. 

Thursday: A pair of games kicks off Week 5 of the high school football season, as Deer Park visits Clear Creek (Challenger-Columbia) at 6 PM, followed by Brazoswood at Clear Falls (Veterans Memorial) at 7 PM. 

The Astros face the Athletics at 3:05 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 2:30 PM with the pregame show. 

Friday: High school football kicks off at 7 PM with Baytown Sterling at Ball, state-ranked Dickinson at Clear Brook (Veterans Memorial), Clear Springs at Clear Lake, (Challenger-Columbia), Friendswood at La Porte, state-ranked Silsbee at state-ranked Hitchcock, Sugar Land Harmony at state-ranked La Marque, Marshall at Santa Fe, and Texas City at Baytown Lee (Victory Sportsnet).

In high school volleyball, Clear Falls at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Clear Lake, and Clear Springs at Dickinson start at 4:15 PM, followed by La Marque at Needville at 4:30 PM. Hitchcock at Boling is at 5 PM, while Angleton at Friendswood and Texas City at Santa Fe start at 6:30 PM. 

UH football fans will be up late as the Cougars visit Oregon State at 9:30 PM (ESPN).

Beginning their final series of the regular season, the Astros visit the Angels at 8:38 PM. Space City Home Network starts the pregame show at 8 PM.

Saturday: The college football schedule starts at 2:30 PM with Rice at Navy (CBS Sports Network) and Auburn at #9 Texas A&M (ESPN). Texas Southern at Mississippi Valley State is at 4 PM, followed by Grambling vs. Prairie View (at Dallas’ Cotton Bowl) and Central Arkansas at Lamar (ESPN+) at 6 PM. McNeese at Stephen F. Austin is at 7 PM (ESPN+).

The Astros face the Angels at 8:38 PM. Space City Home Network starts at 8 PM with the pregame show.
