Christmas on the upper coast of Texas is a tradition that brings out many forms of entertainment for children and adults and one of those traditions is found when Space Center Houston displays its Galaxy Lights.

Opening night or this year’s Galaxy Lights brought in a large group of visitors, both children and adults strolled through the galaxy. Children enjoyed reaching up to the rings of Saturn and holding planet Earth in their arms as their parents’ snapped photos.
River Swanson and her brother Henry from League City skipped along the galaxy taking time to appreciate the many displays of astronomical Christmas décor.
Children were welcomed to climb on the moon and then experience a tranquil few moments resting on it — or at least a replica of it at Space Center Houston’s Galaxy of lights.
This unique tour of the galaxy in Christmas lights will run through Jan. 4. For more information and tickets, go to https://spacecenter.org/galaxy-lights/.
