Bolivar: GOOD. 64 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish can be found in the flats and are best on shrimp. Black drum are good around structure on crab. Flounder are fair around the rocks on a minnow.

Trinity Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 66 degrees. Speckled trout are found over scattered shell and mud on plastics. Redfish are good on shrimp. Black drum are good on crab in the deeper water.

East Galveston Bay: GOOD. 67 degrees. Black drum are good on shrimp near San Luis Pass. Speckled trout will be around the marsh drains on soft plastics. Redfish are in the back lakes and on mud shell bottoms.

West Galveston Bay: GOOD. 67 degrees. Black drum are biting with shrimp or crab. A good number of speckled trout and redfish are good in the sand flats with a lot of shell. If you are wade fishing, throw topwaters where the mullet are. As the water warms up, San Luis Pass will be a hotspot.

Texas City: GOOD. 66 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish are good when working the drop-offs with soft plastics or using shrimp around the dike. Black drum are excellent on shrimp in the deep waters and around the dike.

Freeport: FAIR. 64 degrees. Redfish are along the banks feeding on mullet. Speckled trout are good near the ICW on shrimp. Black drum are excellent on dead shrimp around vegetation or in the deeper water. Flounder are good along the drains on mullet.

East Matagorda Bay: GOOD. 65 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish can be found around the ICW on mullet. Catch and release is encouraged for the time being. The black drum are good on shrimp and will be around structure.

West Matagorda Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 65 degrees. Redfish and black drum can be found over the deep rocks on live shrimp. Speckled trout are in the deeper water and biting on shrimp or chasing mullet. Catch and release is encouraged for the time being.

Port O’Connor: GOOD. 63-64 degrees. Speckled trout are good and have been around the flats or reefs- use shrimp and look for the mullet. Redfish are good on shrimp. Flounder are good around the rocks on shrimp.

Rockport: GOOD. 64 degrees. Black drum are good on shrimp and are around structure. Speckled trout and redfish are on shrimp and will be in the deep cuts, drop-offs, and near the flats and reefs. Catch and release encouraged for speckled trout.
