It is so easy to get caught up in the hustle,
bustle and even the Christmas crazies of the
holiday season. Many of us instinctively want
to do and give more to our loved ones. Some go into debt they cannot afford
during the holidays. Please remember it’s not about the big gift you buy or the
amount of money you spend that makes the biggest
impression on someone. It’s about the time, energy,
and love you put into all that you do. The smallest gifts
you give from your heart, or even gifts you have made,
or the actions done for others, can be more valuable
and lasting than a lot of money spent on a material
gift. It’s how you make someone feel by the effort
you put into it for them. It’s about spending time with
others and recognizing how precious each and every
person is in our life. The true gifts are the faces that
grace our homes, and the hearts that share our love.
They are such priceless gifts that are often taken for
granted. I’d like to encourage you to get caught up in
the love that is the true gift of the Christmas season.
Give it freely and open your heart to receive it. All
other gifts dim in comparison.
