May We Choose Wisely
Choices present themselves daily. What are you going to wear, what to cook or eat, what to watch on television, and what to choose when faced with a difficult life experience. Will you choose to act in a positive way or react negatively? We are all presented with situations that are stressful and trying. I truly believe these tests come for a purpose. They come to sharpen and mature us, to make us think, and to encourage us make decisions. We have a responsibility to ourselves, to our loved ones and to our fellowman to behave in such a way that is emotionally and physically complete, not found lacking, grown-up, mature, adult, responsible, evolved, perfected, of age, full-blown- You get the idea.
It is the one area most of us need to be reminded of, often, because it is so easy to revert back to our old habits almost immediately. It takes constant practice and reminders to change a basic personality behavior. But it’s completely possible.
I hope you choose to have a wonderful day today, and I hope that it happens for you, not by magic, but because you chose to work for it. May we end this month of May, with wise choices, and changed behaviors.
