I Am Weary

Mirriam-Webster’s definition of weary: exhaustion of strength, endurance, vigor, or freshness.  Do you ever just become weary? I can admit I do. I become weary worrying about my finances every month. Will I yet again have more month than money? Will I be able to purchase the food and prescriptions I need? Will the illnesses and pain be overwhelming again this month? I get weary, not sad, not depressed, and not afraid, although when I mention being weary most interpret it as one of the aforementioned. Weariness is a very real thing. I can experience it without being overwhelmed with a lack of faith or hope. If you become weary like I do, for whatever your personal reasons may be, do not beat yourself up. You are just dealing with exhaustion of strength, endurance, vigor, or freshness. For some of us, it’s an ongoing state of being. Remember to capture the good feelings and joy in the midst of being weary. And remember, take a nap when needed.
