Bolivar: GOOD. 58 Degrees. Speckled trout and redfish can be found in the flats on shrimp or croaker. Black drum are good around structure or vegetation. Flounder are good around the rocks on mullet.

Trinity Bay: GOOD. 52 degrees. Speckled trout are fair on live shrimp under a popping cork or topwaters. Redfish are good on mullet and are found along the shoreline. The flounder bite is good on croaker.

East Galveston Bay: GOOD. 57 degrees. Speckled trout are good on live shrimp or soft plastics. Redfish are good in the marsh on live mullet and shrimp. Sheepshead are fair around structure on shrimp.

West Galveston Bay: FAIR. 57 degrees. Redfish and black drum are fair near the coves and along the shorelines. Flounder are good on mullet. Speckled trout are fair on shrimp under popping cork in the deeper transitions.

Texas City: FAIR TO GOOD. 57 degrees. Redfish and speckled trout are good and are over mud on live bait or topwaters. Black drum are good around the bayou and deeper waters on croaker or shrimp. Flounder are good in the channels on mullet.

Freeport: GOOD. 58 degrees. Redfish and speckled trout are good in the bay on live bait. Black drum are good on blue crab around vegetation and structure. Flounder are best along the drains on mullet. For wade fishing and night time flounder gigging, use artificials.

East Matagorda Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 61 degrees. Sheepshead are great right now on minnow or croaker. Speckled trout and redfish are caught on live shrimp under popping cork and soft plastics around the reefs. All other fish are slow.

West Matagorda Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 61 degrees. This side of the bay is best for wading since there is a firm bottom and remains the best method for catching fish here. Speckled trout is good on live shrimp or cut mullet along the flats or shoreline. Redfish are good in the marshy areas on croaker. The flounder bite is slow around the rocks on mullet. Black drum are slow.

Port O’Connor: GOOD. 61 degrees. Speckled trout are found along the drop offs and around the flats on shrimp or croaker. Flounder are slow on mullet in the shallow grass flats. Redfish are good in back bays on live baits.
