Former Clear Creek star and current Texas-Permian Basin defensive backs coach Brandon Burton dropped into Dickinson High School recently to look at the Gators’ talent base. Burton, who played at Utah and was also a fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2011 NFL Draft, is developing into a coach that has the attention of bigger programs.
