If you’re a local Cowboys fan without DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket, you’re out of luck on Sunday, as the huge NFC East showdown against rival Washington gets bumped in favor of a Seahawks-Texans game that will only impact positioning in next April’s NFL Draft. Ouch.
Sunday: The Texans host the Seahawks for a 12:00pm kickoff that will be aired on KRIV26. This will upset local Cowboys fans, who will have to look elsewhere to watch the showdown at a Washington Football Team that has won four straight, as that game is also airing on Fox.
Monday: One high school boys’ basketball game is on the schedule as state-ranked Clear Brook visits Cy Ranch at 7:00pm.
The Rockets welcome former teammate Clint Capela and the Hawks swoop in from Atlanta for a visit to Toyota Center. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest airs the pregame show at 6:30pm before tipping off at 7:00pm.
Tuesday: The high school boys’ basketball schedule will have Clear Creek at Pearland, Ridge Point at Clear Falls, Clear Springs at Alief Taylor, La Porte at Friendswood, Galveston Ball at Manvel, state-ranked Hitchcock at state-ranked La Marque, and Texas City at Baytown Sterling beginning at 7:00pm.
The girls’ high school slate starts with La Marque at Stafford at 5:00pm, followed by Danbury at Hitchcock at 6:30pm. Clear Springs at Channelview, Friendswood at La Porte, Manvel at Galveston Ball, and Baytown Sterling at Texas City each tip off at 7:00pm.
In boys’ high school soccer, Clear Creek at Friendswood and Texas City at Terry both scrimmage at 7:30pm.
Santa Fe at Columbia and Texas City at Clear Creek both get its respective girls’ soccer scrimmages going at 7:30pm.
