Dickinson High School alum and Houston Baptist University track standout Christopher Welch was selected as the Southland Conference Week Two Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week after he set both a meet and school record in the triple jump during last weekend’s Ted Nelson Invitational at Texas A&M.
