Perfect Enough

This will not be chock-full of Covid-19 information. Instead, how do you see your gift to the world? We all have one. Many of us decide we need to be a little more perfect before we share our gift(s) within our world. If I wait until I am more mature, or wise, or perfect to share my gift with those around me, I will never be able to share, because I will never be good enough, or perfect enough. How can we bring love and share love, if we do not love ourselves? How can we bring peace and share peace if inside of us we allow turmoil to remain? We cannot give what we do not have. We owe it to ourselves to settle our souls, our hearts and our minds on a daily basis. Accept the fact that we will never have perfection in these flawed bodies and understand that that is okay. We do not have to wait until every blemish, flaw, wrinkle and crack are perfected before we share our gift with those around us. When we wait for perfection, we become like the beautiful pieces of china and crystal that sit in the glass display cabinet that we admire when we walk by, but that rarely gets used, and only occasionally get taken out and dusted and cleaned till they sparkle! I don’t want to be that perfect ever again. I want to be used, dropped, chipped, washed, dried, and used again and again! I want to be someone’s favorite mug, cup, glass, plate, bowl, vase, or their favorite fill in the blank. That would be perfect enough for me!
