Here we are in a brand new month, the last month, the last 31 days of 2020. What a year it has been! Looking back, there is so much to contemplate, and not all of it good. To be honest I’ve had so many struggles that it would be easy to just give up. We all go into the new year with high hopes that this will be the year of spectacular new horizons and blessings, and find that this is the year of what seems like endless trials and tribulations. I’m sure many of you, like me, wonder how you have made it through. It is truly a combination of God’s grace, and your individual abilities to withstand so much more than you ever thought possible. You are stronger than you ever thought. You have more courage than you give yourself credit for. You have determination that you didn’t realize you had. You have strength that is still untapped inside you and won’t surface until it’s needed. You have made it through, intact, although maybe a bit battered and bruised. Never forget that you are amazing. In this last month, why not recount the year and look at what all you have accomplished and made it through? Celebrate the good that you have done, all that you have accomplished, all that you have weathered, and toss out the rest! Let’s make December a great month in spite of all that we are having to deal with. We’ve got this!
