gem as the first high school softball scrimmages begin. Santa Fe’s powerhouse squad hosts Shadow Creek in the first taste of action for an Indians
team seeking to make a deep postseason run.
WEDNESDAY: No games on the schedule.
THURSDAY: A pair of powerlifting events are on the schedule as the Hitchcock
boys’ team hosts a meet at Hitchcock High School, while the La Marque girls’
powerlifting team competes at Beaumont United.
FRIDAY: The boys’ high school basketball schedule has state-ranked Clear
Brook at Brazoswood, Clear Springs at Clear Creek, Clear Lake at Clear Falls,
Galveston Ball at Baytown Sterling, state-ranked La Marque at Brazosport and
Texas City at Santa Fe each starting at 7:30pm. State-ranked Hitchcock’s game
at Houston Harmony has yet to announce a start time.
The girls’ high school hoops slate begins with Brazosport at La Marque at
5:30pm, followed by Hitchcock at Houston Harmony at 6:30pm. Brazoswood
at state-ranked Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Clear Springs, Clear Falls at Clear
Lake, Baytown Sterling at Galveston Ball and Santa Fe at Texas City each tip
off at 7:00pm.
Texas City’s tennis team will be in action when the Stingarees visit Brazosport.
Meanwhile, the high school boys’ soccer schedule has La Marque at Splendora
at 7:00pm, followed by Clear Falls at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Dickinson,
Clear Lake at Clear Springs, Baytown Sterling at Galveston Ball and Santa Fe at
Texas City kicking off at 7:30pm.
The girls’ high school soccer schedule has La Marque at Splendora at 5:00pm.
Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Dickinson at Clear Creek, Clear Springs at Clear
Lake, Galveston Ball at Baytown Sterling and Texas City at Santa Fe each start
at 7:30pm.
The Rockets host the Trail Blazers for a 7:00pm tip. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest
will start coverage at 6:30pm with the pregame show.
SATURDAY: The first high school softball scrimmages has Katy Paetow at
Galveston Ball at 11:30am while Shadow Creek visits Santa Fe at 12:30pm.
