to June Entertainment Schedule

Visitors to Lagoonfest Texas this June will flip over the latest addition to a robust activity list — performances by acrobat artists who have performed around the globe.
The artists will perform at noon and 4:00pm weekdays with an additional performance at 6:00pm added for weekends.
“Lagoonfest Texas will be the ultimate staycation this year — something more and more people are looking for with air travel expected to be chaotic and gas prices surging,” said Uri Man, Chief Executive Officer of The Lagoon Development Company. “Where else will you be able to find white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and world-class entertainment without a trip to some far-off destination?”
Joel Herzfeld is known for his handstands and performances on the cyr wheel, a large steel ring. From Boston, he has performed throughout the United States, as well as Japan and Germany. Kampanilla the Clown has been in the entertainment industry for more than 35 years, performing comedy routines throughout the United States, South America, Central America, Europe, Japan and Canada. Marilyn España is a fourth generation circus performer adept on the Russian swing and highwire.
“These performers have graced some of the world’s biggest stages for circus and acrobatic performances,” Man said.
Also part of the entertainment lineup in June are “mermaids” who will be able to interact with guests, pose for photos and more. The mermaids will be onsite everyday through the end of June. Radio station KBRE will broadcast from Lagoonfest Texas June 4, 12, 18 and 25, as well as July 2.
“The mermaids were a big hit during our spring break event,” Man said. “The children just loved them.”
Lagoonfest Texas is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 8:00pm through Labor Day at 13900 Crystal View Boulevard in Texas City.
In addition to enjoying entertainment, guests can play on the largest inflatable obstacle course in the nation located on a crystal lagoon; and cruise the 12-acre lagoon via bumper boats, kayaks, sailboats, stand-up paddleboards and aqua trikes. Adding to the fun is a catapult swing; the five-story Titan Slide; water jousting; and a game lawn with corn hole, spike ball, volleyball, a giant Jenga, Spider Pong and Banzai Ball. Food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available.
Individual ticket prices start at $22. Children ages 2 and under are free. Season passes also are on sale. The introductory Lagoon Pass offers unlimited admission through the end of October. The cost is $69. For $99, the Xtreme Pass gives pass holders unlimited admission through the end of October, an unlimited aquaplay activity pass and discounts on food, beverages and rentals. The aquaplay activity pass includes access to the largest inflatable obstacle course on a lagoon, slides and watercraft such as bumper boats.
The Ultimate Pass provides pass holders all the benefits of the Xtreme Pass as well as four buddy passes to bring guests. Cost is $129.
The lagoon is the signature feature of a 100-acre mixed-use entertainment district being built at the entrance to the Lago Mar master-planned community. Future phases of development around the lagoon are planned to include hotels, condo buildings, retail, dining, entertainment, as well as a separate pay-for-access beach club with multiple beaches. Also planned is an event center with a beachfront event lawn for corporate events, weddings and concerts.
