Season is at Stake for Astros

The Astros continue their biggest week of the season as they conclude a series against the Rangers before starting a series against a Mariners team that overtook Houston for first place in the American League West on Sunday.

Wednesday: The Astros host the Rangers at 7:10 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 6:30 PM with the pregame show.

Thursday: Week 4 of the high school football season kicks off as Santa Fe visits Lamar Consolidated at 7 PM.

College football’s weekend starts with Rice at Charlotte at 6:30 PM (ESPN). 

Friday: High school football kicks off at 7 PM with Ball at Westside, Clear Springs at Clear Brook (Challenger-Columbia), Clear Creek at state-ranked Dickinson, Clear Falls at Deer Park, state-ranked Hitchcock at Bellville, state-ranked La Marque at Sam Houston, and Terry at Texas City (Victory Sportsnet).

In volleyball, Clear Springs at Brazoswood starts at 4:15 PM, followed by Brazoswood at Hitchcock and La Marque at Columbia at 4:30 PM. Clear Brook at Deer Park at 5:30 PM. Clear Creek at Clear Falls starts at 6 PM, while Ball at Friendswood and Santa Fe at La Porte start at 6:30 PM. 

The one tennis match of the day will take place between Friendswood and Clear Creek, beginning at 3:30 PM. 

The Astros face the visiting Mariners as the top two teams in the American League West collide. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 6:30 PM with the pregame show. 

Saturday: In the middle game of the weekend series, the Astros take on the Mariners at 6:10 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 5:30 PM with the pregame show.

The college football schedule kicks off with Northern Colorado at Houston Christian (ESPN+) and Northwestern State at Prairie View at 6 PM, followed by Sam Houston State at #8 Texas (ESPN+) at 7 PM.
