All eyes will be on the Texans Sunday as they visit the AFC East Champion Patriots in the AFC Divisional Round. A win would put Houston in the AFC Title game for the first time, and another stellar defensive effort could help pull it off.

Sunday: Sixty minutes separate the Texans from their first appearance in the AFC Championship Game. The only problem: defeating a Patriots team they have never defeated in the postseason on the road in wintery conditions. KTRK13 will have the game live at 2 PM.

The Rockets visit the Pelicans at 6 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 5:30 PM with the pregame show.

Monday: No games scheduled for the day.

Tuesday: The boys’ basketball schedule has Ball at Angleton, Friendswood at La Porte, El Campo at state-ranked La Marque, and Texas City at Iowa Colony at 7 PM. Hitchcock at East Bernard is at 7:30 PM.

In girls’ basketball, Hitchcock at East Bernard begins at 5 PM. La Marque at El Campo starts at 5:30 PM, followed by Iowa Colony at Texas City at 6 PM. Angleton at Ball and La Porte at Friendswood start at 7 PM.

The boys’ soccer slate has Angleton at Ball, Clear Springs at Clear Brook, Dickinson at Clear Creek, Deer Park at Clear Falls, La Porte at Friendswood, and Iowa Colony at Texas City at 7:30 PM.

On the girls’ soccer side, Ball at Angleton, Clear Brook at Clear Springs, Clear Creek at Dickinson, Clear Falls at Deer Park, Friendswood at La Porte, and Texas City at Iowa Colony start at 7:30 PM.

The Rockets get the national spotlight when they host the Spurs at 7 PM. KPRC2 and Peacock will have the game live.
