ALL EYES will be on the blistering hot Texans, who will go for a team-record ninth

straight win against the Browns on Sunday afternoon. There is also a heaping

helping of high school boys’ and girls’ basketball on the docket, with Dickinson’s

boys hosting a talented Ridge Point squad on Tuesday while Galveston Ball’s

girls take a shot at knocking off Clear Creek in a 5A/6A showdown.

SUNDAY: Can the good times keep rolling for the Texans? Winners of eight

straight, Houston bids for another win as the host the Browns at NRG Stadium

beginning at 12:00pm. Unlike the past few seasons, Cleveland won’t be a pushover

as they come into town with a 4-6-1 record and sit on the outer edge of the

AFC Wild Card hunt. The Texans have won six of the last seven meetings against

the Browns and hold a 6-3 series edge. KHOU 11 will have the game live.

MONDAY:  The first full week of the final month of 2018 will have one girls’ high

school basketball game on the docket, as Dickinson hosts Waller for a 6:30pm

tip-off.

Back again on the road, the Rockets open a three-game swing with a visit to the

Timberwolves starting at 7:00pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have the game

live and will start with the pregame show beginning at 6:30pm.

Houston will visit Utah on Thursday before concluding their road trip with a stop

at Dallas on Saturday. The Rockets’ next home game will be against the Trail

Blazers on December 11.

TUESDAY:  The boys’ basketball schedule will have Clear Falls at Baytown Sterling,

Awty International at Clear Brook, Galveston Ball at Clear Springs, Fort

Bend Ridge Point at Dickinson, Friendswood at Fort Bend Dulles, state-ranked

La Marque at Fort Bend Elkins, Clear Creek at Pearland and Alvin at Santa Fe

each starting at 7:00pm. Bay City at Hitchcock will start at 7:15pm.

The girls’ basketball schedule starts at 6:00pm with La Marque at North Forest.

Hitchcock at Brazosport, Katy at Clear Brook, Galveston Ball at Clear Creek, La

Porte at Clear Falls, Clear Springs at Deer Park, Christian Home School Academy

at Friendswood and Santa Fe at Wharton each start at 7:00pm.
