FOR THE FIRST time in franchise history, the Texans will play a regular season game in Europe, as the National Football League announced on Monday the AFC South Champions will take on the division rival Jaguars in the United Kingdom. The game will be one of four 2019 regular season games to be played in the UK. Two of the games will be played at the new stadium for English Premier League squad Tottenham Hotspurs with the other two contests to be played at London’s Wembley Stadium. The date and site will be announced when the league unveils its 2019 regular season schedule in late April. News of the Texans’ trip overseas came shortly before the announcement of quarterback Deshaun Watson being named the replacement for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in Sunday’s Pro Bowl in Orlando. He will be the sixth Texans player on the AFC roster, joining teammates linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, receiver DeAndre Hopkins, linebacker Benardrick McKinney, running back Lamar Miller and defensive end JJ Watt. Watson will make his first appearance in the Pro Bowl after becoming the first player in league history to pass for at least 4,000 yards, 25 touchdowns, five rushing touchdowns and 500 yards rushing
