LSVA TURNS 10

Here at Lone Star Veterans Association we’re celebrating 10 years in 2019 of our mission to build One Veteran Community. We can’t thank everyone that has been along this wild ride so far and has signed up for the next 10 years. There have been delirious highs and depressing lows along the way, but throughout it all we’ve had YOU our community of veterans driving our mission to where we are today…. over 10,000 members! We will have a great day to celebrate on March 1st together over lunch where we’ll be recognizing our amazing volunteers and that night for a blowout celebration party. It’s been a real honor to serve with this organization since 2012 and in a full-time capacity the past few years. It’s been easy to run all these activities (we averaged 17 events per month in 2018!), but these simple activities are just a platform for others to use. I’ve seen you lift yourself up and lift up other veterans. So many great stories of veterans helping veterans and as an organization through the simple act of bringing great people together with other great people. This is the best community to be a part of in Houston, thank you for letting me play a small role as you all lift each other up.
