Approximately 40 area first responders were treated to a reception on Monday at Kranz Junior High in Dickinson honor of National First Responders Day.
Breakfast treats, thank you notes, hand-sewn canine and Dalmation dogs and door prizes were all part of the celebration, which was coordinated by the school’s Family and Consumer Science classes led by teacher Lynn Jamail.
A resolution was passed in the United States Senate designating October 28, 2019 as “Honoring the Nation’s First Responders Day.”
