La Marque High School and Texas City High School juniors and seniors were among 176 Galveston County students involved in the fall Charles T. Doyle Leadership and Development Series (LEADS) session about securing their financial future. Thanks to a sponsorship from Texas First Bank, students learned about budgeting, paying for college, purchasing a car, credit and bank accounts. The Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future organizes LEADS events twice a school year. Presenters at this event were from A&A Machine, Texas First Bank, Classic Auto Group Galveston, College of the Mainland and Texas First Bank.
