Kindness needs to be born again and we should be going into 2021 with it abundantly displayed. It is kind to be accepting of people who might see things differently than you. It is kind to pick up some trash on your street or in front of a neighbor’s yard. It is kind to feed a stray animal. It is kind to show love and to give to someone that is less fortunate than you. It is kind to be respectful of others different from you. It is kind to reach out to a neighbor in some small way. It is kind to give a compliment instead of tearing someone down based on how they look, dress, think, feel, or believe. It is kind to share with someone who might need a positive word, thought, or listening ear. It is kind to bless someone who desperately needs a blessing. It is kind to feed and help the stray people you encounter. It is kind to volunteer for a cause you believe in. It is kind to use your words carefully and to speak gently. It is kind to not be a bully. It is kind to sometimes not say anything at all. It is kind to have a true prayer on your lips and in your heart for another. This is the perfect year to put on, wear, live out, and share kindness. Just. Be. Kind.
