
It’s finally here. The 2021 high school volleyball season begins on Tuesday, with the featured match being Friendswood at Deer Park, while Texas City, coming off the best season in the program’s history, looks to pick up where they left off when the Stingarees welcome Alvin to town.
Sunday: The Astros bid farewell to the Twins in the finale of the four-game series beginning at 1:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will start coverage beginning with the pregame show at 12:30pm.
Monday: Galveston Ball’s volleyball team will take part in a scrimmage at Pasadena Dobie beginning at 9:00am.
Tuesday: Opening Day (and Evening) of the 2021 high school volleyball season gets underway with Family Christian Academy at La Marque at 1:00pm. St. Agnes at Clear Brook and Seven Lakes at Clear Springs are each 5:30pm starts, while Manvel at Clear Creek and Anahuac at Hitchcock begin at 6:30pm. Opening Day concludes with Friendswood at Deer Park and Alvin at Texas City starting at 6:30pm.
Following a day off on Monday, the Astros welcome the Rockies to Minute Maid Park for the first of a two-game series. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts coverage at 6:30pm with the pregame show, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:10pm.
