CLEAR CREEK senior offensive lineman Chad Lindberg ended his silence on
Sunday when the four-star recruit announced he would be committing to national power Georgia, choosing the Bulldogs over Texas and LSU.
“At Georgia, I like Sam Pittman a lot,” Lindberg told Rivals.com about the Bulldogs’ offensive line coach. “I went to Georgia on spring break and it was just me and Coach Pittman on campus. I spent the whole day with him and he talked about all the people he’s prepared for the NFL, the lives he changed. “Coach Pittman is good guy and better coach.”
Ranked as the nation’s 94th best recruit by Rivals, Lindberg is ranked 13th
overall in Texas and is the nation’s 11th best offensive lineman. The 6’6,
315-pounder is projected to play either guard or tackle when he debuts with Georgia next year.
The recruiting website projects Lindberg, a two-time all-District 24-6A first
team selection to develop into a legitimate NFL draft prospect.
Lindberg and his Clear Creek teammates will begin their 2019 regular season on August 30 when the Wildcats visit Baytown Sterling.
