Local coaches will have an opportunity to learn from former major league stars at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth Coaches Clinic Series today. The free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will instruct local coaches, parents, volunteers and students on proper fundamentals, drills and techniques of coaching and running a practice.
Players attending* include 10-year MLB veteran outfielder Trenidad Hubbard and former Houston Astros and Clear Creek star Jarred Cosart and Charles Gipson, as well as Jeff DeWillis and Mark Little. These five players combine for 28 seasons and 1,084 games in Major League Baseball.
The clinic will take place at Santa Fe Little League, running from 10:00am to 12:30pmn located at 4605 Peck Avenue, Santa Fe, TX 77517. The morning will conclude with a Q&A session for all participants.
