

Five business marketing/entrepreneurship teams from Texas City High School qualified to compete at DECA State because of their successful competition this past weekend. Congratulations to: Aja Sherwood, Dasia Moore and Kristy Martinez for their International Business Plan; Dylan Proctor, Camren Williams and Wyatt Brasher for their Independent Business Plan; Michael Tranchina and Chris Lopez for their Independent Business Plan; Jovany DeLaGarza, Aaron Cantu and Jonathan Alvarado for their Innovative Plan; and Nyomi Ministerio and Roxie Cordova for their Project Management Community Awareness plan. Their teacher is Terri Jacobs.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
