Once bitter rivals, La Marque and Texas City are now “roommates” as the Cougars will share Texas City ISD Stadium with the Stingarees. The Coogs had played two “home” games in Texas City the past two years and will now call it a permanent residence after five decades at Etheredge Stadium. With the Stings not playing until September 24, La Marque will get the first home game of the 2020 season when they host a to be determined opponent in Week 2 after having to replace Houston Sharpstown on its schedule.
