What is beautiful? Some find beauty in a person’s physique or outstanding figure. Maybe it’s their latest professional hairstyle from the most expensive colorist and stylist available. Put those together with a fabulous designer wardrobe from head to toe and you would have an incredibly beautiful person by most people’s definition. We all look at magazines, TV programs, and go shopping, and some may be able to afford all of the latest fashions. Some of us just look, wish and admire, but, is it the “stuff” that really defines beautiful? I try to look for beauty everywhere. I’ve seen it in the face of a homeless woman who wanted to give me one of her prized possessions. At that moment, that precious lady was one of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. Her beauty came from deep inside her and illuminated her entire being . There is all kinds of beauty around us. Try to keep your heart and mind open to see the beauty in people in a new and different way, especially the ones that might not be considered to be beautiful by the world’s standards.
