Come one, come all to the greatest race of them all! When you register for The Great Pumpkin Race, you are getting active and helping the classrooms in Santa Fe ISD at the same time. So, lace up your sneakers, air up the stroller tires, make sure Fido’s leash is ready, and just get started!
There are a few distance options when you register – 1K, 5K, 10K, and 10,000 for 10 Days. We have a distance to appeal to everyone or to challenge you. Virtual events like this provide the flexibility to complete it on your own schedule over the course of several days or all in one day – it’s up to YOU! And, if walking, biking, or running isn’t your thing, we will be grateful for your donation.
“This is the Foundation’s 8th year to host its highly anticipated, fun run event, hosted by Greg Gardner State Farm. We chose to make this year’s event virtual due to COVID-19, but we also feel like it makes it more achievable for more participants given the timeline in which the distance can be completed”, Gina Welsh, Executive Director, Santa Fe TX Education Foundation.
Thank you for getting active in the name of philanthropy. Your registration will be used to surprise educators and staff with Grants for Great Ideas in November by funding projects to enhance the learning experience in Santa Fe ISD. Each school year, the Foundation awards grants to educators for items such as library books, science lab equipment, updated technology, and other innovative educational programs.
