calling all artists

League City residents who are professional or amateur artists are invited to display their work at a new “gallery space” the City is creating at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center. The gallery is part of the City’s new Public Art Initiative.

Each month there will be a different display with a different theme. For September, the City is showcasing works created by League City residents. If you are interested in displaying your artwork at the civic center, reach out to sarah.greerosborne@leaguecitytx.gov. You must be a League City resident and your artwork must be dropped off to City Hall by August 15. Only one piece per resident will be accepted.

Only artwork created by adult residents is being accepted for the September gallery display.  Work by League City children and teen artists will be featured at a later date. Stay tuned for details.
