Congrats to the Hitchcock football team, which captured the Texas 7on7 Division II championship in College Station on Friday. The Bulldogs went a perfect 8-0 between Thursday and Friday, winning the championship game over defending Class 3A-1 champion Lorena by a 33-6 count. Quarterback Lloyd Jones was selected as the championship game’s most valuable player.
